Half Term ~ food!!

Wuwuwu~~~ My half term finally starts today T^T and I can finally have a rest!! <3   We went to town in the afternoon and we decided to cook our dinner!    These are the stuff we cooked!

Um... this was not what we cooked! XP    I want to mention about these chilies because they are so spicy!!!  They are called Thai Chili and they are from Waitross.    I only helped to slice the chilies a bit but my hands are very painful (until now... so 2-3 hrs -.-'') because they are too spicy. T T

These were what we really cooked. XD

This is the most popular dish and it is called sweet and sour pork.    The main ingredients of the sauce are sugar,vinegar and soy sauce and I like it very much as I have an unusual obsession of sour food. XD

This is the prawn+egg+beans fried rice.    Delicious and simple. :)

This is the stir fry potato!!   It is VERY VERY spicy that all most all of the chilies are added into it!    I can't really eat much even though I like it.  ><''

This is my favorite dish...stewed chicken with three cups of sauce!!!   The name of it actually means that you put one cup of oil, one cup of cooking wine and one cup of soy sauce in to make the sauce.  ^ ^    We didn't add cooking wine in because we couldn't buy it in town so my friend was kidding that this is stewed chicken with two cups of sauce! XDD (My friend also added a tiny bit of chilies in as well... *.*)

Um...this is the end of my post today... sorry that it is very short... I don't know why I am very tired (I am not in charge of cooking! I am only the person who is preparing the ingredients!!! ><) and I want to sleep...The reason of me writing this post is only because I want to show you guys a delicious meal I have today. :) >///<   Well, you next time and my post will definitely be longer!!! >:<

Skip Beat

I am going to talk about a anime/manga I really like today...it is called SKIP BEAT and is written by Yoshiki Nakamura.    Um... I have been following Skip Beat for 2 years, though it seems that this manga/anime will never come to an end... =.=''   In fact, I was attracted by the plentiful facial expressions of the main character to watch the anime. XD  such as...

this

this

and this XDDD

The story line of this anime/manga is quite common and it starts with the main character, Kyoto Mogami's view.   Kyoto was a sixteen year-old girl who moved to Tokyo and worked hard every day because the person she loved, Shotaro Fuwawanted to become a pop star in Tokyo and he needed financial support.        However, after Sho became famous, he started to treat her badly and he said that he was just using Kyoto to get money.    Kyoto became very angry that her 'Pandora's box' in her heart was opened and small demons looked like Kyoto were released (they would attack people Kyoto hated XD).    Kyoto also vowed to beat Sho by becoming more popular than him and she decided to become an actress.    The main story starts from here. :)

There was also another main character who called Tsuruga Ren in the story.    Ren hated Kyoto at first because Kyoto wanted to use 'acting' as a tool to take revenge on Sho.    However, Kyoto developed a passion for acting later on and Ren's view of her has changed.    Their relationship became complicated too as they have 'special feelings' toward each other.

Um... although the summary of the story seems a bit ><'' but this story is actually really light-hearted and funny.    Kyoto's overreactions and the author's humor highlighted the whole story and was the reason why I watched its anime or read its manga --- I enjoyed the process of looking at the story. :)  Here are some more pictures of Kyoto's reactions to make you laugh too. :D

*Note: the pictures are from the internet! :)

Well...this is the end of my post today and hope you enjoy reading what I've written. :DDD  See you next time and best regards to all of you! ^^

Winter time ~ Bicester Village

I went to Bicester Village in Oxford yesterday (school trip XD)!    Bicester Village is actually an outlet for branded stuff in UK and it has more than 130 shops. :3  I can't stand the temptation ><, and bought a few things~ I want to introduce them to you as I like them very much! :)

The first one is...
(Sorry that the lighting of the photos isn't good... it's because the UK Winter Time has started ~ *.* clock goes back 1 hour, daytime becomes shorter...and this year winter comes much earlier in the area I am in... ><""" this is only 4:45 in the afternoon and the sky is really dark already  =.='''')

This is the 'Verbena cooling hand cream gel' (75 ml) !!   It was half price so I bought it with Baku. XD (All of these hand creams are in sets, can't only buy one ><)    This hand cream contains fragrance of verbena, orange, geranium and lemon tree and it smells really nice... :3 just like lemon tea!!! XPPP I like the Verbena shower gel too and I have mentioned it before in one of my previous posts.    This hand cream bottle looks really cute (fat & short? XD) too and its lid seems very interesting. XD

The way you open the lid is to turn it to the right and then you just need to squeezzzzze the bottle! XP I actually really enjoy doing it. XDDDDDD

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The second one is 'Sun Verbena Protective Gloss SPF15' (15 ml) and it is the item that satisfies me the most. :D
The reason why I like this item the most is... this lip balm is a limited edition but I only bought it for X pounds!! Wahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha~~~ (guess how much I spent! XP) The quality is fantastic, and the smell is really good.   It has a light and neutral verbena smell compare to the hand cream above and it also protects your lips from being damaged by UV rays! *.*  This lip balm is also very moisturizing and you just need to use a tiny bit for your lips every time. ^ ^
The 'mouth' of this lip balm! XDD
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This was the last thing I bought, and was the one that costed me the most money. ><" But I really like it!   It is the Smashbox brown eyes palette!!!

The package of the palette ~ looks really nice... I won't thrown it away! XD

The look of the palette!

 The back of the palette.   It is said on it that you can scan the QR code and then watch a tutorial of how to use this palette! :3   However, I am too lazy (and busy ><"") so I haven't watch it yet. :P  I will try to do it sometime! XP

There is a mirror inside the palette... good... I like it! :DD

The six colours inside... they are (from right to left) marble, wine and bark in the top row; vanilla, brazilian bronze and navy in the bottom row.

Here are two photo of how these colours look like when you wear them!

I like the 'wine' colour and the 'bark' colour the most - these two colours look the best on me and are the most common to use. :D   Although it doesn't show well in the photo ><, these two colours contains a lot of shimmer (also the brazilian bronze), but the way the shimmer matches with these two are the best in all six colours!!

Well... this is the end of my post!!! Hope you'll like it ;) and see you next time!!! :D <3

Amigurumi & Japanese

Do you know what Amigurumi is? :3

It's the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed toys.    The word Amigurumi is a combination of 'ami', meaning crocheted or knitted; and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.    These dolls usually have a 'chibi style' which means they have an over-sized spherical head and a cylindrical body. XD    Amigurumi are usually made of yarn using single crochet stitches (= double crochet in UK crochet terminology).     The stuffing of these dolls usually contains polyester or cotton.    However, other materials (for example plastic pellets) can also be stuffed in to create different textures.

*Note: The information of Amigurumi is from Wikipedia. :)

Um... I suddenly want to talk about it is that the stuffed toys made by Amigurumi are sooo cute!!! >///<
Here are some photos of amigurumi dolls I found on the internet. ^ ^

Since I am studying Art, I want to use this technique in my coursework as another media experiment. :D   My coursework's topic is 'birds' and I am currently working on this drawing:

XP I am using coloured pencils to draw a wing (><""" the wing is real...taken out from a dead bird... so creepy....) and it's still not finished yet actually. XP

Um... since I am introducing a Japanese art, I also want to talk about my Japanese lesson! :3    My friends and I will take a Japanese Exam (quite easy) next year as we are having a two-year Japanese course in our school. :> (One year learning is already passed....=.=)   The teacher is very nice and she is also very creative.    For example,since it's hard for us to remember the Japanese characters (we are learning Hiragana), she makes them into pictures!    For instance,
So we can remember the pronunciation. XDD

Well, this is the end of my post today!! Hope you will like it and see you next time!! :DDD  Feel free to leave your comments!
